Can you put a ball head on this Novoflex NF3320 MiniPod?
If you have a ball head with a 1/4-20" female bottom thread, then it will go right on. Most ball heads have a 3/8" bottom female thread, in which case you can purchase a reducing bushing to allow the head to be attached. You can click on the link below to view:

From the appearance in the product photo the legs will spread out to nearly horizontal. Is this true?
The legs on the Novoflex NF3320 MiniPod can spread out; the minimum working height with the legs spread is 7.5".
