Designed to replace a standard wall switch, the Insteon On/Off Switch enables remote control of non-dimmable load types, such as fluorescent lights, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, fountains, and more.
Thanks to the 915 MHz wireless frequency, a hub, app, or Wi-Fi is not required for operation. However, for additional flexibility and functionality, the unit can be used with the HUB 2 Central Controller (available separately) and a Connected Home Access subscription to implement things like mobile app control to set schedules, create scenes, control the switch, seamless voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and control of other devices across the Insteon ecosystem. A neutral wire is required for installation.
