The 82mm Skyeye Magnetic Circular Polarizer Filter from Kase helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage.
This filter is made of optical glass and features multicoating for optimal sharpness, light transmission, and the reduction of flare. The coating also resists water and oil, as well as scratches and minor abrasions, making it ideal for use on location in harsh environments. Skyeye filters attach to a lens in seconds using the included 82mm magnetic adapter ring and have both a screw thread and a magnetic option on the front of the filter, which allows using either magnetic filters or standard screw-in filter. The adapter ring also accepts 82mm lens caps and can be left on the lens. The Skyeye magnetic stacking system allows up to four magnetic filters to be stacked for combined effects.
