- Arca-Type-Compatible Dovetail Design
- 6061-T6 Aluminum Construction
- Black and Satin Silver Anodized Finish
The KLP-260 Universal Lens Plate with QD Socket from Kirk Enterprises is an Arca-type-compatible universal quick release plate designed for use with lenses without custom fitted plates.
The plate is constructed of black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, making it both scratch and corrosion resistant, and includes a reversible aluminum lip that may be mounted at either a 90 or 30° angle. Removing the lip will make the plate universally compatible with almost any lens foot, but with the loss of anti-twist capability.

Can I attach BlackRapid Sport X QD Multi-Use ...
Can I attach BlackRapid Sport X QD Multi-Use Sling, (that I bought from you) to this lens plate, but attach the plate to Canon EOS 1D Mark III camera instead of lens?
Yes, the BlackRapid Sport X QD Multi-Use Sling will connect to the QD socket on the Kirk KLP-260 Universal Lens Plate with QD Socket. This plate can be used on any Canon EOS DSLR camera including the 1D. If only using this on a camera, and not on a lens, it may be worth looking at a camera plate with a QD socket, such as the Kirk Universal Camera Plate, BH #KIPZ134V2 (https://bhpho.to/3cpV1I1).

Can this plate be used with the new canon RF ...
Can this plate be used with the new canon RF 200-800 LENS?
The Canon RF 200-800 lens has not been released yet and we have not been able to test which lens plate would work well with it. Historically, the Kirk KLP-260 Universal Lens Plate with QD Socket would not be a good option for a lens that size since it is only 2.6". You would need a longer plate around 4 inches or more with a long lens like that.
