The Really Right Stuff DJI Ronin S2 CL Rail replaces the nodal slide on the DJI RS 2, RSC 2, and Ronin S gimbals (it's not compatible with the Ronin SC). This alternative plate offers two Arca-Swiss mounts: a sideways mount for attaching your camera using an optional Arca plate, and a straight mount that can be used for various purposes, including mounting a camera via an Arca-compatible lens foot, such as the LCF-54 foot for Canon from Really Right Stuff. Other Arca adapters that can be used on the straight Arca mount include the Mini-Clamp Package from RRS.
The bottom of the CL Rail is compatible with Manfrotto 501PL tripod heads, allowing you to move your camera between the gimbal and heads. The CL Rail maintains the safety stop feature on the DJI RS 2 gimbal and Manfrotto heads.
To maintain the factory gimbal adjustment gear rack feature, the rubber part attached to the bottom of the original DJI nodal slide can be removed and screwed into the bottom of this CL Rail using the three screws from the original plate.
