IR Profiles Included
MCabinet is based on statistical analysis of real guitar and bass cabinets. It lets you start with thousands of IR profiles and get creative from there.
Resonators for Unique Sounds
The software offers four resonators, which can give your IR cabinet a unique tonal or resonant character.
Width and Ambience
Two wideners are on hand to provide a natural stereo widening and potentially a little ambience.
EQ and Filtering
MCabinet lets you post-process your IR cabinet using simple knobs such as flattening or tilt. You'll also find a dynamic equalizer.
Export IRs for Hardware Devices
Any creative cabinet you make can be exported, so you can use them in a hardware device, and reproduce your esoteric effects live.
For All Sorts of Instruments
MCabinet is mainly designed for guitar and bass cabinets, but it can actually work with just about any kind of sound. You can analyze the profile of any set of samples and see where it gets you. Or, you can use a flat profile and exploit the resonators and wideners on any audio you want.
