Per-Voice Easy-to-Use Modular Engine
- MSoundFactory is based on an extremely easy-to-use what-you-see-is-what-you-get per-voice Generator modular engine, into which you can add as many modules as you need. The plug-in automatically connects modules freeing you from tedious connecting module inputs and outputs.

Global Modular FX Engine

Modulation Madness
- MSoundFactory provides you with a dual modulation engine. First, there are global modulators, which you may know from other MeldaProduction plug-ins. They are ultraversatile and can modulate pretty much anything, globally, so all voices will be modulated at once.
- Second, there's the new per-voice modulation engine, which is available only for a limited set of Generator's parameters, but individually for each voice. There is a 4x4 modulation matrix for each of these parameters, with various mixing operations, transformation curves, and more. And when it comes to modulation sources there's just about everything from envelopes to LFOs, randomizers, note parameters, MIDI controllers, various utilities, and even custom modulations that you can create by actually generating some signal in the generator.
True and Modular Unison
Unison is usually implemented by allocating multiple voices for the same note. That limits the number of notes you can actually play. MSoundFactory doesn't work like that. Various modules such as Oscillator or WaveTable provide a true unison internally, hence not limiting the number of voices you can play. And also there's the unison module, into which you can create any generator system, and vary each unison voice any way you like.
Sampling and Synthesis
- Sampler in MSoundFactory is already very advanced. It features an unlimited number of regions with an unlimited number of alternating hits in each region, looping and crossfading with ranges available for modulation, and syncing multiple samplers for multimicrophone-based instruments.
- For those who specialize in sampling acoustic instruments, there are various utilities such as a sample cutter, automatic layer, and sample start generator, tonal/noise convertor, loop generator.
- The sampler also features a powerful sample bank system, so that you can put all samples in a single highly compressed yet fast repository for caching and distribution.
- MeldaProduction's synthesizer oscillators are produced with virtually no aliasing. You also get filters and FM synthesis that is matrix based.
MDrummer Modules
You can not only put MDrummer inside MSoundFactory's FX section, you can also use all of its drum samplers and synthesizers inside the Generator modular environment. Creating both acoustic and electronic drums inside your sounds have never been easier.

Most plug-ins change the loudness of the output audio, which makes browsing presets inconvenient even without randomization. MSoundFactory includes automatic gain compensation, which quickly adapts to current settings and ensures the output sounds as loud as the input. This even protects you from thinking that something sounds better just because it is louder.
Safety Limiter
Some plug-ins can increase gain when exposed to specific audio materials. MSoundFactory provides a safety brickwall limiter, which ensures the output stays below 0 dB, preventing your equipment and your ears from potential danger.

Adjustable Oscillator Shape Technology
- Every oscillator in MSoundFactory uses the most versatile oscillator algorithm on the market. It provides a mix of predefined oscillator shapes, custom waveforms edited using our MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), a step-sequencer, and several methods for algorithmic postprocessing.
- It also provides a harmonic mode, which lets you control the harmonic content instead of oscillator shape. This is especially useful for high-frequency oscillators.
Adjustable Upsampling 1024x
Digital audio provides superior audio quality compared to ancient analog gear, but there are problems too. The main problem is the aliasing, which may be noticeable when using nonlinear processes such as compression or saturation. MSoundFactory includes both minimum-phase and high-quality linear-phase upsampling algorithms, which avoid aliasing.
Multiparameters
MSoundFactory lets you control multiple parameters using a single multiparameter. This may not only come handy for automation, but you can use them to morph between banks of settings for example.
Modulators
- MSoundFactory provides 8 full-featured modulators, which can control any set of parameters including other modulators. Each modulator works as an LFO, level follower, MIDI/audio-triggered ADSR envelope, randomizer, pitch detector, or even a combination, and can listen to the plug-in's side-chain.
- You can make the sound move in time, so it is less static and more interesting. You can make various parameters dependent upon conditions like the input (or the side-chain) level, or you can even set it to listen to the input pitch.
Compare Multiple Settings
- A/B comparison is a widely used method to objectively hear the changes you are making to your audio to help you make better decisions nondestructively.
- A to H Switching: Have up to 8 instances of the plug-in, copy/paste the A to H slots, and freely switch between them.
- A to D Morphing: You can morph between the first 4 slots with an X-Y pad. Not sure which preset to choose? You could load 4 and find the perfect blend of all of them. Not sure if A or B sounds better? You might prefer an interpolated state somewhere between the two.
Smart Randomization
Melda's state-of-the-art randomization system gives you complete control. You can randomize parameters in 3 ways:
