Expand your Pianoteq collection of meticulously modeled virtual instruments with the Pianoteq Karsten Collection, a downloadable library of authentic historical instruments for use with Pionoteq 6.7 or later. This software bundle offers five instruments including a Steinway square piano from 1858 as well as a harpsichord from the 17th century, an authentic pianoforte from the 18th century, and more.
The library comes courtesy of Peter Karsten, an avid instrument collector from Braunschweig, Germany. These instruments have been physically modeled rather than sampled to reduce the file size and CPU load. Peter was involved in the virtual capture of these instruments to make sure their sound is authentic. Please note, this collection of instruments requires Pianoteq 6.7 or later to run.
