latency?
Asked by: Hayk
Z Cam IPMAN S has a 50-meter line of sight range. No info on latency was given. We tried a in house test and noticed the following unit has a 100-150ms latency. I wish the range were farther, but 50 meters (164 feet) with a clear signal will work great as we conducted the test in our superstore.

can you connect a single tx and a mobile phone at the same time? and can you connect two tx to one Rx and do split screen viewing?
Asked by: Alexander
We're not aware of the IPMAN S being capable of receiving multiple signals. We will be asking Z Cam for more information regarding multi-signal support. As for split-screen viewing, the IPMAN S does not support that feature. You will need to have a monitor or converter that supports multi-viewing from multiple receivers.

I was wondering what would be the delay in MS for this kind of units. Since it can be used as trad. TX/RX mode, will it be pretty fast ? Is there a sync guaranteed between audio and video? Or will there be a slip of a few frames between the two?
Asked by: Charles
This device uses Wi-Fi to transmit video which means that there is going to be some delay. They have not reported how much but it is likely vary depending on your environment and signal strength between the transmitter and the device it is connecting to. Any audio that is processed by the camera will be in sync with the video via this transmitter. This is a great tool for a director or producer who wants to see what is going on but it may not be ideal for someone pulling focus because of the delay.
