Available for download, the PSPAudioWare PSP E27 is an EQ plug-in designed for mixing purposes in a pro-audio context. This EQ has been modeled on the Avedis E27 analog EQ, a 500-series module that combined the best of classic British and American designs.
The EQ offers three bands, and you can tweak them in stereo, in mid-side, or independently in stereo or mid-side modes. You'll find ±16 dB of amplitude on each band. Each band has fixed frequency points chosen for their musicality. The lows and highs can be switched from parametric bell curves to shelves.
You'll also note a drive knob, which models the EQ's inherent analog characteristics. Indeed, the plug-in has been coded to emulate the nonlinear behavior of the analog version. You'll also find a secondary variant of this EQ included in the download, the PSP E27 SE. This is a simplified version, with an easy-to-use GUI. It works on both mono and stereo sources, provided you don't need dedicated controls over the left and right channels.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
Available for download, PSPAudioware PSP ClassicQ is an equalizer plug-in designed for mixing in a pro-audio context. This EQ is modeled on various British-style equalizers that are prized for their musicality, especially in their high- and low-shelving filters. Coupled with a precise and sweepable midrange parametric band, the PSP ClassicQ filters give you a tool for shaping and sweetening your individual tracks.
The EQ provies a high-pass filter, a low shelf, a midrange-band, a high-shelf, and a low-pass filter. The download also comes with PSP ClassicQex, an expanded version with an additional low-midrange section. This low-mid band offers fewer Q controls than the other midrange section, but provides a powerful curve for sweetening or lessening the often-muddy low-mids nevertheless. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats.
ript>Available for download, the PSPAudioware PSP ConsoleQ models the sound and feel of classic British console equalizers, most notably those found in the AMEK systems designed by Rupert Neve. You can use this EQ for extensive control on individual tracks, including the correction of pesky resonances. You can also use it to achieve great track separation in the mix.
You'll find shelving controls for the low end and high end, as well as parametric controls for the low mids and high midrange. These controls are laid out on virtual concentric knobs. Additionally, the PSP ConsoleQ sports adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters which can be switched in and out of the signal path.
You'll also note the resonance switches below four of the bands, which can adjust the steepness of the filters. The midrange bell filters exhibit a gain-following-Q design, wherein the bandwidth of the filter becomes steeper, the more you boost or attenuate the amplitude. This leads to a more musical operation than conventional constant-Q filters. Lastly, the software offers an output level control, as well as a saturation button.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will operate in AU, VST, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
Available for download, the PSPAudioWare PSP McQ is an equalizer plug-in designed for mixing in a pro-audio context. This EQ is modeled on various hardware units such as the venerated MCI console EQ. However, the software goes beyond its inspirations to give you adjustable high- and low-pass filters, optional bell filters for the low and high bands, and three bandwidth settings for the midrange filters.
In the three midrange bands, the gain follows the Q, so that the bandwidth grows narrower and steeper as you adjust the amplitude of the filter. This behavior is quite musical in nature, and allows you to EQ individual tracks assiduously within the mix for greater clarity and separation among instruments.
PSP McQ also features a saturation option in the output section, labeled SAT in the GUI. This feature adds a smooth overdriven character when pushed. Its ceiling is set to a fraction below 0 dBFS to protect against digital clipping.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats.
Available for download, the PSPAudioWare PSP NobleQ is an equalizer plug-in designed for pro-audio mixing. This software models classic passive-program EQs such as the venerated Pultec. This EQ offers a wide range of frequencies to manipulate as well as a particularly musical sound.
Classic passive EQs offer the ability to boost and cut at the same frequency in the low end, resulting in a round, warm sound without adding much in the way of mud. This operation is often referred to as the Pultec trick, and the PSPNobleQ provides the ability to enact this move.
Bringing the EQ into the modern age, PSPAudioWare has given the plug-in an adjustable high-pass filter, as well as the ability to switch between high-peak and high-shelf filters in the treble range.
This plug-in uses FAT double-sampling to ensure an analog-style response. You'll also note the output stage, which offers an optional Valve setting that gives you a tublike sound. If you're looking for more bands to play with, you'll be happy to know that PSPAudioWare has included a second plug-in in this download called the PSPNobleQex. This expanded version offers a midrange section, with the ability to boost or cut selected midrange frequencies.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats.
Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP preQursor2 is a EQ plug-in for pro-audio mixing contexts. The software offers four bands of equalization. You'll find four bell filters. These filters are all designed for gentle, musical functions. Whether you're boosting or cutting, it will rarely sound harsh.
Using PSP's Advanced Analog Modeling techniques, the PSP preQursor2 offers an Analog Drive section that emulates the preamplifiers, input transformers, and other circuitry from real-world analog filters. You can drive this feature with a dedicated knob, and add coloration to a track. Using the group button, you can link the Analog Drive section across multiple instances of the plug-in. A saturation button gives you even more coloration on the output stage. All of these characteristics will help your acoustic, vocal, or electronic tracks shine in a more analog style. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP RetroQ is an equalizer designed for use in pro-audio mixing. It's not an exacting, sculpting EQ, as much as it is a broad, sweetening equalizer.
With high- and low-shelving filters based on the renowned PSP VintageWarmer, the EQ provides broad musical boosts and cuts. A midrange section is also provided, using the same digital architecture as the PSP VintageWarmer. An adjustable high-pass filter lets you filter out the low end. Though the plug-in works quite well on submixes and the stereo bus, it will sound musical and sweet on individual tracks as well.
Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP Neon is a linear-phase EQ for mixing and mastering applications. The plug-in offers eight EQ bands, each with seven assignable filter types, including shelves, bells, and pass filters. You can also make use of the spectrum analyzer that presents your signal in an easy-to-read graph.
The convolution algorithms used in this plug-in have been optimized to achieve a balance between CPU efficiency and phase-accuracy, so that you can run multiple instances without a problem and never incur audible phase shifting. Though the curves are transparent, the filters have been modeled on analog circuits to give you a feel reminiscent of mastering-grade hardware EQ.
The plug-in offers three modes. PSP Neon HR provides linear-phase processing in three spectral resolution levels. PSP Neon STD offers a standard spectral resolution sufficient for everything but the most intensive mastering purposes. The latency on this mode is far less than PSP Neon HR. Quite interestingly, the plug-in offers a linking option that allows you to automatically select, cut, and boost the overtones of your low-cut filter's frequency setting. A Q+ mode enables a gain-follows-Q feature, similar to the proportion-Q circuits of many hardware equalizers. M/S processing is also available. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats.
Available for download, PSPAudioware's PSP oldTimerME is a plug-in designed for mixing and mastering applications. It is a vintage-style compressor designed to handle both track and bus compression. It can deliver anything from smooth analog restraint to pumping, pounding limiting.
Included in this download is a simplified mixing version and a more complicated, more versatile mastering version. The mixing version offers controls over the ratio, compression, time, and output. The mastering version expands your controls to offer dedicated attack and release parameters, as well as side-chain filtering, independent dry and wet knobs, and dedicated controls over the mid and sides of stereo channels.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats.
Available for download, the PSPAudioWare PSP FETpressor is a plug-in designed to restrict the dynamic range of audio material in a mixing context. This software models a classic circuit topology in the analog realm: FET compression. This circuit can be suitable for both smooth and aggressive purposes.
Use this compressor on vocals, basses, drums, guitars, and more. Any time you want to elicit the sound of a classic 1970s-style compressor, this can be your go-to. You'll find threshold, ratio, attack, release, input, and output controls, as well as a blend control for parallel compression, a stereo-link switch, and an internal sidechain filter. Use the sidechain high-pass filter to minimize the amount of low-end you feed the compressor, thus reducing any unwanted pumping from things like kick drums or low bass notes.
Note that this is not a transparent compressor: the makeup-gain amplifier and output transformer found in hardware have both been modeled, resulting in colorization even at 1:1 ratio settings. Because there is no audible latency in this plug-in, you can feel safe using it even in live monitoring or when automating the plug-in to MIDI controllers.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not.
Available for download, the PSPAudio PSP BussPressor emulates a classic VCA compressor, one found on the busses of many professional mixes from the 80s onwards. Threshold, ratio, attack, and release controls are on hand. These controls keep your dynamics in check, and provide the sonic glue for which this compressor is known. You'll also note the make-up gain and auto-release switch, which also come in handy.
Other controls beyond the original hardware are available for use, including a selectable high-pass sidechain filter. Use this filter to keep your kick drum from triggering the compressor; this allows you to achieve more compression if needed without causing unwanted pumping.
Instead of a single dry/wet mix knob, you'll find two independent output controls, one for processed signal and the other for dry signal. This lets you fine-tune the balances to a fine degree, and also aids in gainstaging before additional processing, such as stereo-bus compression, or limiting at the final output.
PSP BussPressor is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will operate in AU, VST, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
Available for download, the PSPAudioWare PSP MasterComp is a plug-in that provides high-quality dynamics processing on stereo sources. It is designed for pro-audio contexts, especially mixing, stem mastering, and stereo mastering.
The plug-in excels at fostering dynamic restriction, transient reduction, and analog-style smoothness. It offers controls over the threshold, ratio, attack, and release, as well as high-pass and low-pass filtering on the selectable sidechain input.
This last feature is especially useful: if either the low end or high end cause unwanted pumping, you can filter these frequencies out of the compressor's path with these sidechain filters. Similar to hardware units like the API 2500, PSP MasterComp offers variable linking between the left and right channels, and filtering on the linking as well.
In addition to the full version of PSP MasterComp, the software comes with an additional plug-in called PSP MicroComp, which is intended for use on individual busses and tracks during the mixing process.
This software uses double-precision, 64-bit floating point calculations, as well as double-sampled FAT processing to give you transparency and fidelity, even at extreme settings or when running at high sample rates. Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP X-Dither is a plug-in that protects your mixes from truncation noise when you export a 24-bit recording in 16-bit files. If you're in the market for a dither with different selectable noise shapes, this plug-in is definitely worth a gander, as it's been endorsed by famed mastering engineer Bob Katz. Use this plug-in during the mastering process, specifically when you export the final master into a CD-quality 16-bit / 44.1 kHz file.
This plug-in overlays exceedingly low-level, randomized noise under your audio source to mask the rounding errors that occur when downgrading from 24-bit to 16-bit files. Sometimes these rounding errors can be audible, which is where this low-level noise comes in handy, as it blankets those audible errors with a barely-audible veil of noise. This plug-in goes farther by shaping the randomized noise in various, selectable ways, so that you can always push this noise out of the way of important, programmatic material.
PSP X-Dither is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, RTAS, and AAX formats.

Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP EasyVerb is a reverberation plug-in for use in pro-audio production and mixing contexts. The plug-in gives you nine reverb algorithms that simulate real-world spaces. Algorithms are provided for a room, chamber, club, hall arena, and cathedral sound, as well as a general ambience feel. A simulated plate and a spring tank round out the offerings on hand.
The developers have taken great care to present you with easy-to-use, easy-to-grasp controls. You'll note Time and Damp controls, as well as a two band shelving EQ, a mix knob, and an output volume control. Even though the sound can be quite complex, getting the plug-in to work to your desired predilections will be easy—hence the name EasyVerb.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats.
Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP PianoVerb2 is a creative resonant reverb plug-in for use in production and mixing contexts. The software is a redesign of the original PianoVerb, with updated features throughout, such as a resizable GUI and new tools for preset management.
The reverb itself aims to mimic the behavior of piano strings by putting the wet signal through 12 separate resonant filters. At modest settings, this kind of reverb can give you a clear, resonant, and highly dimensional response similar to a piano sitting in a wonderfully tuned acoustical environment. Indeed, it can help disguise sampled pianos and make them more believable in the mix.
But you can also tweak parameters within the plug-in to leave the natural world for realms of creative sound design. You can transpose the 12 resonant filters and detune them. You can also modulate them, change their width, and apply high-pass filters to them. All of this can transform a rather tame element into something wholly esoteric.
PianoVerb2 is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
Available for download, the PSPAudioware PSP 2445 EMT is a reverb plug-in, one inspired by legendary reverb units of the early digital age. The EMT 244 and 245 were highly respected in their day, and the PSP 2445 is based on the original algorithms of both units.
The result is a simple yet musical-sounding reverb, one with easy-to-implement controls for fitting the reverb into your mix. Whether you're looking for a large space with long tails, or a short reverberation time, this reverb will come in handy in your productions.
The software is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will operate in AU, VST, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
Available for download, PSPAudioware PSP Nexcellence is a spring-reverb emulation plug-in for pro-audio purposes. It offers a rich, lush sound modeled on necklace-type reverberation units.
Two different sets of spring processors have been modeled, and you can use one or both of these engines at a time. You'll find controls for input gain, delay, color, decay time, output, and more. Balance the effect towards the left or right side of the mix from within the plug-in itself, or set the effect to mid-side operation.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP SpringBox is a reverb plug-in for production and pro-audio mixing purposes. This software models the sound of a hardware spring reverberator, the sort often found in vintage guitar amplifiers.
PSPAudioWare has gone to great lengths to emulate a spring tank faithfully, giving you the sound one associates with spring reverb. The plug-in lets you select between two independently configurable virtual spring channels, each with Time, Trim, Presence, Damp, and high-pass filtering controls. You'll also note stereo spread, diffusion, and pan over both channels.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
Available for download, the PSPAudioWare PSP B-Scanner gives you the sound of the scanner-based effect commonly associated with vintage hammond tonewheel organs, such as the iconic B3 organ. Imagine the Gospel-tinged sound of a sustained organ chord, full of wobbly tremolo, suddenly breaking into an unmodulated, clean sound. You can achieve this classic effect with the PSP B-Scanner.
Using this software, you can elicit slow, swirly chorus effects, fast flurrying vibratro, and everything in between. Slide between the two effects on the GUI's slider, or press the speed button to instantly go from the fastest to the slowest settings.
Specific choruses and vibrato have been modeled, all selectable via the Mode selector. Many other controls have independent knobs for the left and right channels, making this a stereo effect that can get quite strange indeed. PSP B-Scanner has controls that can be assigned to MIDI, which comes in handy for controlling and automating the effects on the fly.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will operate in AU, AAX, VST, VST3, and RTAS formats.
Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP L'otary2 is a plug-in that emulates a rotary speaker, such as the kind you'd find on hammond organs. This plug-in is designed for pro-audio production, composition, and mixing.
The algorithm is based on two real-life rotary speakers, the Leslie 122 and the Leslie 147. PSPAudioWare intends this algorithm to be as faithful as possible to the original hardware units, though it is also possible to create timbres unavailable to you in the physical world. For instance, you can control the rotating high-frequency horn and low-frequency drums independently, and fashion novel sounds in the process.
Use this effect on electric pianos, clavs, hammond organs, and more. Process a vocal through it, and you can secure a sound straight out of the psychedelic '60s. This software is compatible with Mac and windows platforms, and it will operate in AU, VST, RTAS, and AAX formats.
Available for download, PSPAudioware PSP N20 is a multi-effect plug-in. Its semi-modular design offers flexibility in mixing, sound design, and production contexts.
Use up to four sound processing operators at a time, including resonant and formant filters, equalizers, delays, pitch-shifters, bit-crushers, and more. Four modulators, including LFOs, envelope detectors, and ADSR step sequencers, are at your disposal. The interface offers eight assignable knobs, which can be MIDI-mapped quickly and easily. With 192 factory presets, you'll be up and running with creative sounds in no time.
This plug-in is available for Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, RTAS, and AAX formats.
Available for download, PSPAudioWare PSP HertzRider 2 is a plug-in that shifts and tunes frequencies. It's suitable for pro-audio mixing and production. Use the plug-in for tuning inharmonic sounds like snares and kicks, or for processing harmonic instruments in an esoteric matter. A few uses of the plug-in include using it to create wide spatial effects on instruments or detuning a kick-drum sample to make it sound more real.
PSP HertzRider 2 offers several upgrades over the original, such as LFO synchronization, envelope follower with sidechaning, and expanded sidechaining options. The software is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will operate in AU, AAX, and VST formats.
Available for download, PSPAudioWare stompFilter is a modulated-filter plug-in intended for use in production and mixing scenarios. You'll find LFO modulation, an envelope follower, and LFO randomization effects that mimic the imperfections of analog devices.
You can use LFO modulation on low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass filters. You can create auto-wah effects and vivid dynamic filtering. Control the rate, frequency, and width of the effect with shiny purposeful controls. Time the LFO to your host DAW for tempo-synced effects, or make use of the frequency slider to create dramatic drops. You can change the LFO waveform and apply soft saturation and limiting, if you so choose. As this is an exceptionally expressive plug-in, PSPAudioWare has made sure it's fully compatible with MIDI automation, so you can use your MIDI controller to automate effects within your mix.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats. An iLok account and the iLok License Manager application are required for operating this software, though the iLok dongle itself is not required.
