Lexar LRW550U-RNBNU Reviews
A Good Tandem
I purchased this in combination with a Lexar 128GB Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series for use in my Canon EOS 1Dx Mark III. They are an ideal combo, no buffer issues, fast file transfer, and reliable. I have been using them for a month so far with no problems and I expect that will continue long into the future.
Works great, doesn't overheat!!!
When I got my Canon R5 in 2021, I got some SanDisk CFexpress cards with a SanDisk reader. OMG it got hot! I really worried about damaging the cards with the heat, so I bought a ProGrade reader, but that was just as bad. Then in 2022, one of my friends gave me a Lexar CFexpress card with this reader, and WHOA!!! It doesn't get hot at all, and it's just as fast as the other two! I've been using it ever since without any issues using either my Mac studio or my MacBook.
