Made in the USA, the STR-MP10 Ultralight Field Case from STRUT is an audio bag custom-designed to house the Sound Devices MixPre-10 multitrack recorder. Featuring a lightweight carbon-fiber support skeleton, waterproof 1000-D Cordura nylon, and padded compartments, it provides full access to the unit's controls and connections while protecting it from weather, dust, and impacts.
Weighing only 16 ounces, STR-MP10 uses carbon fiber rods and high-density foam to create a strong, padded compartment that suspends the mixer over the case floor, protecting vulnerable wiring and accommodating multiple powering options. The front pocket can hold up to four Sennheiser G4 or three dual-channel receivers and comes with a thru-port to the main compartment, making cabling fast, easy, and very tidy. The case is equipped with a clear vinyl cover for dust and rain protection, which rolls out of the way or detaches altogether when not needed.
Zippered access points on the left and right sides let you plug in headphones and check connections. Battery changes are made easy with the bottom zipper pocket, which provides access to the recorder's battery compartment and timecode connectors. The bottom battery wrap will conveniently accommodate an external battery pack. The case features double belt loops and harness attachment points—the HAR-2 lightweight audio harness is included.
