This lens is an excellent entry into the world of cinematic filming. Great reproduction of color. Focus takes a little getting used to with the amount of focal range. Overall great lens!

Perfect Intro Cine Lens!

This is a perfect step up from photo lenses into Cine lenses. If your wondering if you will see a difference between a set of Sigma Art glass and this... You will! I personally think the falloff and flaring on these lenses are perfect for the Modern/vintage blend with a slightly warmer tone then DZO Primes I find these to be a little more welcoming to skin tones. If you're wondering if this is worth the price tag. I'd say so!

Is this a manual focus wide angle cinema lens?
Asked by: Osvaldo
This is a manual focus 35mm T2.1 cine lens. Technically, 35mm is wide, but it's often considered as a midway between wide (20s-mm focal lengths) and normal (50mm).

Can you use this on a S35 sensor? And if so how does this change the focal length?
Asked by: Jesse
Yes you could use this on a S35 sensor size. Super 35 sensors will add a 1.5x magnification to the lens. This 35mm lens would look like a 52mm view when used on crop sensor S35 cameras.

What's the image quality between the full-frame version and the super 35 version, for say the pocket cinema 6k pro?
Asked by: Sheri
The image quality is approximately the same. the difference is that additional glass, "a 45mm image circle for full-frame sensor coverage" is added to the full frame version VS the 33.6mm image circle on the super 35 version.
