Will this work to read XQD cards? It seems some CF readers will and some won't.
Asked by: Leland
No, the SanDisk Professional PRO-READER Multi Card Reader will not read XQD Cards. CompactFlash sometimes called CF is a different form factor than XQD, both cards cannot fit in the same slot. It is CFexpress Type B that is a similar form factor to XQD, and some readers will read both CFexpress Type B and XQD. If you are looking for a reader for For CFexpress Type B & XQD Cards there is the Sony MRW-G1 CFexpress Type B/XQD Memory Card Reader, BH #SOMRWG1T1 (https://bhpho.to/3FaE91r).
