Yongnuo YN900 Overview

The YN900 Daylight/RGB LED Light Panel from Yongnuo is a daylight-balanced 10 x 7.5 x 2" LED light that consumes just 54W of current and outputs many times that in tungsten equivalency while maintaining a high CRI of 95 for accurate color rendering. The color temperature is 5500K, great for shooting outdoors or in venues with large windows, but you can change the color balance with the two included color-temperature filters when needed.

Dimming is variable, and while you can make adjustments locally on the unit, the YN900 has a built-in Bluetooth receiver for app control that can control dimming and on/off functions at distances up to 98'. The light can run on AC power via a separately purchased adapter or on two optional NP-F lithium-ion batteries.

Battery Capacity Testing
By pressing the battery button, the remaining capacity of two batteries is displayed. Battery power is affected by the selected power level.
External Power Supply
It is recommended to use the separately purchased Yongnuo power adapter for extended use. The light will also run on optional NP-F batteries when AC power is unavailable.
Fan Heat Dissipation
The YN900 employs an intelligent fan that runs automatically for effective heat dissipation, which increases the LEDs' lifetime, especially during extended use.
Color Temperature Filters
The YN900 comes with two CT filters to convert the daylight-balanced light to a tungsten balance.
Luminance Adjusting
There are two tuning modes for YN900, fine and coarse.
