The Profoto OCF softgrid for my 2' octa does a good job of controlling the spread from the front diffusion surface. It keeps the backlight and kicker from giving a potentially flaring hit to the lens. When used as a key or fill it creates a visible vignette, narrowing the spread by about half while maintaining full power in the center. Construction is solid, with the attachment edge wraps the lip of the octa both inside and out, ensuring a leak free interface.

The Profoto OCF Softgrid for 1 x 4' Softbox is a grid, not a softbox. It will fit onto the Profoto OCF Softbox (1 x 4'). See: https://bhpho.to/4eAfAfP. Also, you will need the Profoto Speed Ring for OCF Flash Heads, B&H # PROCFSR (https://bhpho.to/4h6EWUq), so it can fit onto the Profoto B2.

Would this Grid Also work on the newly released 24 OCF Beauty Dish?
It fits, and works, but there is a down side.Every Beauty Dish has a soft area (the area which is covered by the deflector plate) and hard area (the area which is !not! covered by the deflector plate). If the grid is used with just the Beauty Dish, then it shows the grid pattern in the hard area (because its 50, and made for a softbox rather than a Beauty Dish). This can only be avoided by using it in conjunction with the diffuser (sock) - but than, its a little octa and not a Beauty Dish anymore. ;(Like it anyway.

It doesn't. There is no adapter for the OCF products. The RFI line of softboxes does have a Alien Bees mount.

no this is for the 1x3 which is only 12" wide and the way the grid fits over the edge it would not fit on the 2x3 which is 24" wide. but if you pinned it in the middle then sure. but the correct answer is no.
