Do the MagMod Speedring Gels fit when using the ...

Do the MagMod Speedring Gels fit when using the Godox AD 400 Pro and AD 600 Pro or do they stick out too far?

I have the AD200, AD300 and the 600. The AD200 fits in the speedlite ring (MagRing) and the circular gels work fine. The AD300 with the Bowens adapter added works great in the MagRing Bowens mount with the gels. When I use my AD600 I wrap the strobe element with gel paper due to the issue of this element protruding too far into the MagBox. Not a huge problem.

Can you mount this softbox on a LEd video light such as the godox VL150? Also, how do you use a color gel with the softbox and light, and can you also use this soft box with barndoors and gel? Does the magnet for the softbox also attach to video lights such as the godox VL150?

A few photographers using the MagBox Pro 42 Octa with the original MagBox Speedring adapters have experienced, at times, weaker magnetic performance than expected. This issue is isolated to a small production batch of the original MagBox Speedring adapters (not the MagRing) that didn’t meet our design specifications. The design of the new MagBox Pro Speedring resolves these strict product requirements to ensure super fast MagBox mounting as well as rock-solid magnetic mounting strength. If you have experienced any negative performance of your original MagBox Bowens Speedring, we would be happy to replace it with the new MagBox Pro Speedring at no cost to you.
