Use the Sky-Watcher SynScan USB Adapter to directly connect just about any SynScan mount to your PC that is running the SynScan Pro App for Windows or other compatible software . The adapter plugs into one of the mount's ports—eliminating the need for the hand controller—using either the equatorial (EQ) cable or the alt-az (AZ), and then plug your USB 2.0 cable from your computer into the other side of the adapter. Another benefit of using this adapter is that it eliminates the ancient serial connectors that other systems require for computer mount control.

The SynScan USB adapter allows a more reliable wired connection between any Skywatcher Synscan Go-To mount and a PC and certain Android devices. The adapter plugs into the mount's hand control port and connects to a computer with a USB cable (printer type - not supplied).
