Fashioned in red, the iFootage Tool Hook is designed as a standard carabiner for attaching gear, but it also features multiple integrated tools you can use with your production gear. It has a 4mm hex key, a 7mm hex socket wrench, and a flat head screwdriver.

So, it’s a carabiner. Unfortunately you can’t really use it. The socket and flat head at the bottom is a very awkward placement, and overall it’s pretty difficult to use. Don’t get me wrong, i have numerous iFootage gear, TC7, WILDBull, Shark Nano, lots of smaller items and love them all. Like all iFootage gear, the build quality is great, the design not so much. YMMV. Will I continue to buy iFootage gear, absolutely, will I get another one of these, not a chance.
