Supporting resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz via an HDMI output, a DVI-D port is also present. Featuring 384 CUDA cores, this graphics card sports a base core clock speed of 1177 MHz and a boosted clock speed of 1417 in OC mode. Utilizing 2GB of DDR4 VRAM with a 64-bit memory interface, the GT 1030 Low Profile provides a memory clock speed of 2100 MHz. This graphics card supports DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.5 APIs. A PSU of 300W is recommended.

Solved A HW Problem With Dell Inspirion 3030 With This Board

I Have An Almost 1 Year Old Dell Inspirion 3030 - A Laptop Mother Board In A Desktop Case... The Point Being A Mimilist Power Supply Without Much Extra For Bus Cards. The Motherboard Integrated Intel Graphics Started Failing And Caused Problems With Windows. While It Is Under Warranty, I'd Have To Pay To Ship It Back And Wait For It To Be Fixed And Returned... Not An Option. I Was Able To Install This GeForce GT 1030 Low Profile D4 2G Into The One Pci Slot. In Bios, I Set It As Primary. The System Booted Up And Enough Drivers Were In Windows To Use Windows To Load The Full Drivers I Down Loaded From Nvidia. My Point On The Power Above Is Because There Is Not Much Available, And In My Use For Office And Media Editing With Light Room, I Am Inside Of It. Its Claimed To Use 30 Watts This Card Also Has Its On Onboard Memory So Not Much More Taken From The 3030's Motherboard. Very Easy, No Tool Physical Install. It Can Support More Advanced Gaming But I Likely Will Never Do That. I Wrote This Review As This Might Be A HW Fix Path That Others Could Use

Very nice video card for general desktop

Installed with no problems. It is tiny relative to the Radeon 7770 in my other system. Runs quiet and cool. I needed a general desktop video card for browsing, Netflix and coding. This fits the bill for that. Overpriced but not unreasonable considering the cost of gaming cards. I would get another if Radeon fails.

No, the Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 Low Profile D4 2G Graphics Card does not support the NVENC encoder.
