Instead of using a hardwired controller, the 31" Wireless Carbon Fiber Motorized Camera Slider from GVM lets you manage and control the motorized motion via an iOS/Android app from your smartphone or tablet. Set A to B travel points and keyframed time-lapse sessions over a wireless Bluetooth connection, and capture smooth and professional-looking video and images. This belt-driven slider can be used in horizontal as well as tripod-mount inclined setups, with up to 11 lb cameras supported horizontally. A ball head is included with the slider so that you can easily adjust the tilt and swivel position of your camera. A bubble level is built into the slider carriage for checking your camera's balance.

Can this be used manually, sliding by hand while tilting and panning the camera mounted in a fluid head?
Yes, you can move the camera manually across the slider, but it is not built for that and we can't recommend it, as the gears might prevent you from getting a smooth shot. For manual use, we'd recommend getting a non-motorized slider such as the Axler 30" Lightweight Carbon Fiber Camera Slider (BH #AXCSCF30LW • MFR #CS-CF-30LW).
