THREE-BODY TECHNOLOGY World in Gourd is a virtual instrument that realistically emulates the sounds and articulation of a Chinese Hulusi, a clarinet-like wind instrument. The Hulusi features a bamboo wind tube, a gourd resonance chamber, and two auxiliary wind tubes, which allow for two fixed notes to be played in harmony. This traditional Chinese instrument produces a lovely, mellifluous sound used to express romantic relationships, or to accompany lyrical dances.
