THREE-BODY TECHNOLOGY 1133-228 Overview

Adjustable and full-featured, Modern G-31 from Three-Body Technology is a contemporary-style 31-band graphical EQ plug-in. With a simple and rapid workflow, two selectable FIR filters, and versatile stereo, M/S, and L/R processing, Modern G-31 offers precision frequency sculpting free from artifacts.

Two selectable FIR filters include linear phase and minimal phase, with the latter being ideal for eliminating band interaction artifacts and providing a smooth response without excessive aliasing. A switchable Drive function lets you dial in vintage-style harmonic distortion. A Curve knob allows you to adjust the slope between band steps for a more (or less) linear response. The GPU-accelerated interface is intuitive and fully resizable for accommodating any workflow. This plug-in is available in the AAX plug-in format for macOS and Windows, and the AU format for 64-bit macOS only.

Editing Modes
There are two modes for editing gain for each band. Draw mode allows you to modify the gain of multiple bands by dragging the mouse across them, and Slider mode allows you to adjust a single band.
Three Stereo Modes
Modern G-31 can work in three modes. In Stereo mode, the left and right channels apply the same EQ parameters. In L/R mode, left and right channels can apply two EQs with different parameters. And in M/S mode, stereo channels are firstly remixed into middle and side channels, passed to two EQs with different parameters, and then mixed back to stereo channels.
Monitor Functions
There is an L button below each band and pressing this button will only pass sounds from the corresponding band. This allows you to listen to the detailed effect from one specific frequency band. When Modern G-31 is working in L/R or M/S mode, an S button will be displayed below the master gain slider of each channel. Only the corresponding channel is enabled when it is triggered, and the peer channel is turned off.
