Vivotek ND9323P Reviews

The price is a little bit high for such basic functionality

So I got this as a replacement for existing Hikvision's NVR because Hikvision marked my existing NVR as End of Life product plus Hikvision has many other drawbacks (such as being put on government ban list or their atrocious mobile app which is not intuitive to use). Unlike Hikvision's NVR, this Vivotek NVR seems to have a slightly better build quality, more intuitive GUI, is not on any ban lists, and Vivotek's iViewer app seem to work better than Hikvision's app plus Vivotek's app is still available on Google's app store. The 2 drawbacks I have noticed so far are that this NVR can't do any advanced motion detection by itself (it does have basic motion detection functionality but you can't even adjust sensitivity of that) and must rely on advanced motion detection that is built into Vivotek's own cameras, and also the current version of firmware (4.1.0.5) does not allow you to set your preferred DDNS provider on NVR itself, it only has an option for Vivotek's own DDNS service which you can't even register for anymore. I hope Vivotek will at least add an option for more DDNS providers.
