Inexpensive and very compact shoe extender allowing you to mount light and mic in a single hot shoe for recording video. Because shoes are so close, it might not work for every application, particularly if the attached devices are wide at the base such as wireless receivers. Cold shoe is not rigidly attached to the adapter, providing additional versatility in mounting. There are two separate tightening nuts, one for adapter and one for the camera. Minimalistic and effective.

Good quality, versatile, don’t use with hot shoe device

This is a great device for connecting things like all joints and cold shoes but don’t use it for hot shoe devices that have the electrical pins like a speed light because they will make contact with the metal surface. Not sure if electricity would flow. With that caveat, I do recommend the product.
