Get yourself a classic flanging effect with Kuassa's Efektor FL3606, a downloadable software plug-in that models the classic tape-recorder / modulation effect. This software gives you three types of flanging for use in your compositions, productions, and mixes. Get anything from a vintage sound to a drastic jet-engine whoosh.
The FL3606 offers controls for rate, depth, delay, and feedback. Use the mix knob to blend in only a little of the flanger effect with the dry signal. Other goodies are on hand, such as an A/B comparison button and BPM sync to coordinate the effect with your song's temp. This software will operate on Mac and Windows systems, and work in AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats.
