Smooth out your performance with the Kuassa Efektor CP3603 Compressor a software plug-in based on several compression pedals that are designed to tame unruly performances while adding sustain to guitar, bass guitar, and other instruments.
The Efektor CP3603 features three types of compression: VCA, FET, and OPTO, plus a dedicated bypass switch and compression, release, and level controls. The plug-in Mac and Windows compatible and works with most DAWs that accept VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and Rack Extension plug-in formats.
Note:
Propellerhead Reason 7.1 or later is required to use Rack Extensions.
Compression Styles
- VCA: The VCA (voltage-controlled amplifier) is fast, modern, and sounds very clean
- FET: FET, or field effect transistor, based compression is known for its aggressive behavior and adds color to the resulting sound
- OPTO: Short for optical compression, which has the slowest reaction, but gives more characteristics and tightness to the result
