The CAMVATE 16mm Light Stand Mount attaches to light stands that have a 5/8" (16mm) baby stud. It provides a 1/4"-20 mounting screw, allowing you to mount lights or other devices/accessories equipped with a matching 1/4"-20 threaded hole. Besides light stands, this adapter can be mounted on any other support that provides a 5/8" baby stud. A ratcheting lever on the side secures it to the baby stud.
Also included is a black 1/4"-20 lock nut that facilitates securing accessories attached on top. With this lock removed, the 1/4"-20 screw of the adapter is much longer.
