The product was accurately described but not read well by me .....my Canon 5d needs a mini usb not a usb type-c. So the cable did not connect to my camera. My mistake....have sent away for an adaptor and hopefully it will work.

The connection to the monitor is poorly designed and I have been unable to keep the cable connected. It keeps popping out.

Is this capable working on Sony cameras such as ...
Is this capable working on Sony cameras such as A7III or A7Siii or cineline FX3, FX6 and FX9?
This model is not for Sony cameras. Search "Godox GMC-S1" and you'll find the right cable which is compatible with Sony A7III, RX10, A7R, A9 etc. But it's not compatible with Sony cinema cameras.

Godox at this moment does not list the Canon R models as compatible with this cable. However yes this USB-C cable would be the best cable to test your Canon RP with.
