Konova P1 Motorized Camera Slider Overview

Wirelessly control your smooth camera movements when using rigs weighing up to 17 lb with the belt-driven P1 Carbon Slider with KMS-S3 Wireless Motorized System from Konova. This kit combines a 31.5" P1 carbon fiber slider and a KMS-S3 motor to create a remotely controllable slider kit. The lightweight and durable slider supports up to 22 lb, and the S3 motor and carriage can support rigs up to 17 lb.

The RMS-S3 is powered using a separately available L-series battery. It is controlled via Bluetooth with a free-to-download smartphone app that provides multiple modes for video, time-lapse, and also allows for manual mode. Additional kit items include a shutter release cable, USB cable, slider bag, controller bag, and mounting hardware kit.

Is it possible to fit the wireless controller to a slider with a wired controller?

The Konova P1 Carbon Slider with KMS-S3 Wireless Motorized System will only function with a phone attached wirelessly. Unfortunately, there is no wired control option for this slider model.

What is the maximum camera and lens weight the slider can handle to operate smoothly?

The Konova P1 Carbon Slider with KMS-S3 Wireless Motorized System has a support weight of up to 17lb payload weight to operate. You would want to be under this weight to have it run smoothly. horizontal payload: 8kg (17lbs), diagonal payload: 3kg (6.6lbs), vertical payload: 1kg (2.2lbs).

Is this dependent upon owning an iDevice? My understanding is the app is ios only.

Konova does offer an Android app for the Konova P1 Carbon Slider with KMS-S3 Wireless Motorized System (47.2"), but it may not be available on the Play store and would need to be downloaded via a QR code included with the slider.
