Excellent Base For Adding 15mm Rods

We Have A Small Instructional Studio With Three Blackmagic BMPCC 6K Pro Cameras On Ceiling Mounted Rigs. The Main Front Camera Had A Teleprompter On Separate Mount. When The Camera Was Moved In Any Direction, The Teleprompter Had To Be Moved... But Neither Was Easy To Move. I Bought The Tilta Baseplate To Attach The Teleprompter To The Camera With The Rods. All Three Cameras Have Tilta Cages, So Attaching The Baseplate To The Cage Was Less Than 1 Minute. Mounting The Teleprompter Was Not As Easy; I Had To Use SmallRig 15mm Rod Blocks And An Aluminum Plate To Lower The Teleprompter For Centering. However, It Turned Out So Well, Saved Space (which Is Very Limited), And Now The Teleprompter Moves With The Camera. So, Bottom Line: The Tilta Base Is Very Well Made, Fits Perfectly With The Tilta Cage, And Made My Life Easier.

How does one attach a manfrotto base plate without it wiggling on the Titla center screw ports? The Titla has only a thin ridge with no support on the sides for these plates!

Using 2 screws to secure the baseplate to your tripod plate will prevent it from wiggling or rotating.
