The Prolycht Orion 300 FS 2x Fresnel Kit mounts to the Orion 300 FS light using a Bowens Mount. The Fresnel lens has a 15-degree to 30-degree flood/spot beam angle adjustment. The kit includes a four-way barndoors set to further adjust the beam angle, and these barndoors can also be mounted to the Orion 300 FS reflector. The kit comes with a padded carry case for storage and transport.

I bought two Orion 300fs and the 2x fresnel. A fresnel SHOULD give give you better light spread and control. It doesn't. Even on the full flood setting it was very spotty and less controllable. The barndoors don't give you a sharp cut and even cutting with a flag further out didn't. Using barndoors on the reflector that is included with the 300fs cuts much better and has a wider spread of light.
This fresnel lens is pretty worthless. A focusable fresnel should provide an even spread of light and a clear change from spot to flood. This lens fails on both counts. The light beam is not even, rather there is a big hotspot in the center and a lot of falloff. And when changing from flood to spot you can barely see the difference in beam angle. I think this may be because the light beam is so narrow to start with. I returned it. I have the Aputure fresnel 2X; I didn't compare the two fresnels directly but I don't think the 2X is any worse (even though it's not designed for Prolycht), and it's much cheaper, so I use that with the Orion 300 FS. Really waiting for Dedo to come out with their fresnel and projection attachments, which I expect will be very expensive but quite awesome.
