Convergent Design ERIKA-RX Overview

Combine the Convergent Design Erika Wireless USB Receiver with multiple Erika microphones (available separately) to create an ultracompact, extremely simple, and cost-effective wireless mic system that's ideal for content creators, podcasters, mobile journalists, and educators as well as corporate meeting hosts and participants. The miniature USB Type-C receiver connects to your Mac, Windows, or Chromebook computer and works with any program that supports 16-bit audio at 16 kHz, such as Zoom, Facebook, Teams, and many more.

Thanks to its USB powering and plug-and-play operation, the receiver offers truly simple and fast setup. Plus, automatic pairing and channel selection allow you start working without having to read a manual or dig through menus, even if you use different receivers at different locations such as your home and the office. The system's dynamic mic switching ensures that only one mic is heard at a time, significantly reducing overall noise. The Erika app provides special functions such as naming mics, locking to a particular mic, accepting more users, and more.

Model of Simplicity
The USB Type-C receiver plugs directly into your computer and requires no batteries or charging. The mic (available separately) wirelessly connects to the receiver via proprietary 2.4 GHz technology that is designed to coexist with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Instant pairing and automatic channel selection ensure that you don't have to concern yourself with manual configuration. A plastic stand is included to enable convenient tabletop placement.
Dynamic Switching
Dynamic switching supports up to four mics to the same receiver, without additional hardware. The system continuously evaluates the audio level from all mics, enabling one mic, while temporarily muting all others. Future firmware will allow use of up to 12 mics with a single receiver, with one active mic output at a time.

Beyond supporting multiple mics to one receiver, dynamic switching blocks the noise, combing, and echoes from "open" mics, while dramatically reducing the wireless traffic compared to analog wireless mics.
Extensive Compatibility
Erika works with Mac, Windows, and Chromebook computers whether you run Zoom, Facebook, Teams, Meet, WebEx, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, GarageBand, Logic Pro, or any other program supporting USB audio at 16-bit / 16 kHz.
App-Based Enhancements
Using the Erika Mac/Windows app, you can admit new participants, mute mics, name mics, check audio and battery levels, lock to a single mic, update the firmware, and much more.
Made in the USA
Erika is designed and made in the United States of America.
