Why do you use a misleading title?
In the title you put 4k, but in reality this is a FHD monitor!
The FeelWorld F7 Pro 7" 4K HDMI IPS Touchscreen Monitor has an HD panel like many of the displays in this size range. There are very few if any displays in this size range that come with a 4k panel. However, the display will allow you to input, as well as output 4k content, which is the reason Feelworld adds 4k to the heading.

Clarification regarding USB power - can this be powered via USB WITHOUT A BATTERY? Or is it necessary to have the
battery?
I figured out what I was doing wrong. The "or higher" part of "5V 2A or higher" threw me off. I'm using a power bank with a high capacity PD usb-c port, and I WAS using a very nice higher-end usb-c cable, capable of carrying much greater power capacity (like it can be used to power my MacBook, or charge my phone at extra high speed). When I switched to a less powerful USB cable, which I think is limited to 5V 2A, and plugged that into a lower powered regular old USB-A port on my power bank, the monitor powered on with no problem - and indeed, with no battery attached to the back of the monitor - Woohoo!!
