Connecting to a host via Thunderbolt 3 or USB Type-C, this dock accommodates wired accessories via a USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two Gen 1 Type-A ports, plus two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and one Type-C port also support fast charging. Connect two displays via DisplayPort, with support for dual 4096 x 2160 monitors when connected to a host via Thunderbolt 3, or 1920 x 1080 monitors when connected to a host via USB Type-C. An RJ45 and 3.5mm port are also present, supporting wired Gigabit Ethernet and headsets, respectively.
This dock supports up to 60W of power to a connected host, while reserving 75W of power for connected accessories. An AC adapter and 2.3' Thunderbolt 3 cable are included. A Kensington Lock slot allows you to secure the dock with a compatible cable lock, available separately. Requiring no drivers, this dock is designed for easy compatibility and deployment, being compatible with Windows 8 and later and macOS 10.12 and later. Please note, a Thunderbolt 3 host connection is recommended for optimum performance. Laptops that do not support MST or Thunderbolt 3 may only support a single display. Furthermore, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro systems using the Apple M1 chip support only a single external display over Thunderbolt 3 ports.
