I'm not a techie so I don't understand the inner workings. That said, I currently am using a MacBook Pro, 2012, with a 3.1 dual core i7 processor, 16Gg ram. Question: will a new 2.3 quad-core i7 with 16GB ram work for video much faster? I use Premiere Pro. Thanks.
    Asked by: Tony
For video editing work, the 15"/16" MacBook Pro models are the ones you want to use as they feature dedicated graphics modules - that's where the video workload is handled. None of the 13" MacBook Pros feature dedicated graphics. There is, however, potential promising video performance in the recently released M1 Macs but they are new and native software support is coming along.

None of my devices are equipped with USB-C cables. I'm using a powered USB hub for my scanner, printer, external hard drive, and optical drive. Can I still use the hub with a USB C to USB adapter?
    Asked by: Michael
It theoretically should work. There might be some hubs that don't like to work this way. So therefore this is not a guarantee.

Yes, there are 4 USB-C ports. There is also a headphone jack. No other ports, so charging is through USB-C with included adaptor.

Did Apple solve the terrible keyboard issues plaguing the previous MacBook Pro models?
    Asked by: Esteban
This Mid-2020 version has the Magic Keyboard, like the MacBook Pro 16. More than new switches, a return to the old design. Still slightly less travel than their old great keyboards, but substantially better, including a real Esc key and the old much better cursor key layout.
