Why would one want an sc-01 versus an sc-02? Just better suction and handling of weight?
It all depends on your payload. If your payload is less than that is max out for the SC-02, then someone would go for the SC-01. From the looks of it on the Leofoto website, the SC-01 is mainly used for smartphones for inside and outside a moving vehicle. The SC-02 can be used with larger mirrorless/DSLR cameras for outside of a moving vehicle.
