The Modular L-Plate Set for Sony Alpha a1 from Really Right Stuff is a modular system that combines a traditional camera mounting plate with the added flexibility of a vertical L-Component to create a fully modular L-bracket. The L-bracket design features an Arca-type compatible dovetail on each component to facilitate easy, fast, and stable switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations when mounted to the top of a tripod head or compatible clamp. The open design maintains access to the camera's side ports and battery door without obstructing the tilting LCD screen. A QD socket is located on the bottom of the plate to quickly connect a camera strap with the universal Quick Disconnect system. Made of CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum, the components feature a black anodized finish that resists abrasions and corrosion.
