I bought this case to house a Shure SM7B mic, the Cloudlifter CL-1, the 6 foot cable that runs between them and the extra windscreen. I saw other cases that fit the mic exactly but didn't seem to have room for all of the other accessories. This is a little larger than I needed (I wanted to be sure it all fit) so that means I also have room for at least one more mic and probably more. So far everything fits and I was able to get rid of the shipping carton and individual boxes everything came in. I put some additional bubble wrap in the case for a bit more protection. While I don't anticipate taking this mic to a gig I believe the case would work fine anytime I needed to pack the mic and my other gig stuff. I don't need a case that's secure enough for an airline baggage compartment. All in all I'm happy so far. It's decluttered my workspace some and keeps everything having to do with the SM7B in one spot.
