Does this printer only use HP toner or can other toner brands be used?
For those who still have this question, with experience selling and supporting enterprise printers (mostly high volume printers), as a national accounts manager, to various government agencies, at least 90% of customers' printer issues, where 3rd party toner, developer, etc. was used, was caused by that toner.
Saving a "few" dollars is just not worth the risk of encountering some poorly made toner (which, by the way, may be sourced from various origins other than the party selling the toner). One agency insisted they had purchased some bad toner from our company, until the dissimilarities on the toner packaging were pointed out.
