Great for data, bad for charge

I'm giving this 4/5 instead of a perfect score because it claims to be a charge and sync cable. I bought it to connect my FX2 to my computer for live streams. It's perfectly good to carry the full 4k signal to my PC. However, during use the camera battery drops at about the same rate as it would if it weren't plugged in to anything. I knew it wasn't rated for power delivery but I still expected it to at least slow down the battery drop. In short, this will work great for data transfers or relatively short live streaming where battery life isn't a problem. If you plan to stream for hours uninterrupted, look elsewhere. There are cables that will do it, but they're usually usbc to usbc and they cost more.

A 10 foot necessity...

I find this cable to have the most use on set when I need to keep an on-camera light powered. The 10 foot length also comes in very handy in hotel rooms when the the wall plugs aren't near my bed. It's rare that i'd use this to transfer data as most of my devices are usb-c to usb-c, but it can come handy in a pinch when using older computers. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]
