Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Reviews

Well thought out not lacking much in any area

This lens really impresses me in every respect. It is a reasonably priced Zoom with excellent build/design and a broad versatility that defies its weight/size. Resolution and color fidelity in bird feathers is amazing along with very pleasing wide open impressionist bokeh. I purchased this lens with many reservations fearing it would sit in a camera bag. Instead I have found every aspect from focus , sharpness, character, responsiveness and versatility all aiding my creative inspiration, accomplishing photos technically not possible 5 years ago. I do not know if my sample is simply a cherry pick or the quality control is really that good now. Study the MFT charts to maximize resolution. P.S..I do not mind heavy cameras and lenses as long as the results justify the weight....Great Lens to add to my 20

Sigma's super lens for Landscape and Birding Photography

After comparing the Sony's 200-600 to the Sigma 150-600 Sports lens at B & H, I talked with several Birding Photographers. The Sigma lens offers excellent build and image quality as does Sony. My final choice came down to cost. After photographing with the Sigma 150-600mm Sports with the SonyRX10M3 I could not be more pleased with my choice.

This lens is amazing on my Sony A6600 E mount. Sharp and very quick focus (I have the sport model) for amateur wildlife photography. It's a bit heavy to carry, so I've used it with a monopod to help stabilize things. I shopped around for months and read all the reviews and finally decided the much less expensive Sigma was better than the Sony lens for my needs. Not sorry at all. Images are very sharp and clear.

Sigma 150-600 for my Sony A7 R iv

Very sharp, a little heavy but great lens. I usually use a tripod and I am using it mostly for nature and animal shots so the weight is not that bid of an issue. I highly recommend this lens. I do wish Sigma or Sony would make a 300 2.8 or a 300 f4. I prefer fixed lenses.

Great for FX9

I'm using this on my FX9 and I'm really happy with it so far. It's tack sharp and the autofocus tracks really well. It packs down smaller than the Sony 200-600, but it does grow when zooming and ends up longer than the Sony at 600. If you're not shooting stills, I think this is the better choice between the two.
