It is the only shelf that really works properly with the third- or half-width BMD units, so in that sense it's great to have. Aside from that, it is, in my opinion, too expensive for a piece of metal, and even given the high price you pay, the screws that come with it are cheap and break easily, making for a ton of work getting broken screws out of the holes in your HyperDecks etc. Only two screws per unit also on the hypderdeck Minis and web presenters. Will probably rattle out some day, especially given that you can't tighten too tight due to the cheap screws they give you. Could have used a little better design there, and maybe bigger screws with space for spring washers or something.
