This 28mm Grip Head for Wide Diameter Tubes from Impact is a versatile grip head for mounting lights and light modifiers on lighting stands. Connect tubes as wide as 28mm diameter, as used on most panel reflectors, and as narrow as 8mm. The oversized T-handle provides comfort for a fast and smooth action when tightening or loosening the adjustable head. An aluminum friction plate prevents slippage and locks the accessory equipment securely in place. The 5/8" receiver easily mounts the grip head on stands, booms, or other grip equipment with a standard 5/8" (16mm) stud tip.
This grip head accepts tubing sizes of 8, 16, 19, and up to 28mm wide, allowing it to easily attach a variety of lighting scrims and boom tubing for a customized lighting setup. The aluminum friction plate provides increased slippage prevention. By minimizing rotation, the clamped gear stays locked in place.
