Does this unit actually have a 1/8" stereo headphone jack? There is an oblique references to such a connection, i.e. FM radio

Not directly. You would need to rip the CD into a computer that has a CD burner on it and then move the files into the SanDisk 32GB Clip Sport Plus MP3 Player to be able to do that.
