Dell OptiPlex 7490 Overview

The 23.8" OptiPlex 7490 Multi-Touch All-In-One Desktop Computer from Dell is a premium system that delivers productivity and performance. This system is powered by a 10th Gen 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7-10700 Eight-Core processor and 16GB of 2933 MHz DDR4 RAM that allows you to efficiently multitask, as well as quickly access frequently used files and programs. If you require more processing power, the CPU can be adjusted to 4.8 GHz using Intel's Turbo Boost technology and the memory can be upgraded to 64GB by using a 32GB memory module in each of the 260-pin SO-DIMM slots.

The 23.8" anti-glare display features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 60 Hz refresh rate, a 25 ms response time, 72% NTSC color gamut coverage, and wide viewing angles of 178°. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 chipset delivers a sharp, clear picture. You'll also be able to output video to an external display using the system's DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 outputs. There is also an HDMI 1.4 input for external video sources.

For storage, it has a 256GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD for all your data and media content, plus a second M.2 slot for additional internal storage. You can connect external storage options, optical drives, keyboards, mice, and more via its one 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, four 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port. You can also take advantage of the UHS-II SDXC card reader to expand your storage as well as transfer data between your mobile devices.

Connect to the internet via dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) or the Gigabit Ethernet jack for a more stable and reliable wired connection. Other integrated features include Bluetooth 5.1 for pairing compatible wireless peripherals, a 1080p webcam, dual-array digital microphones, 5W stereo speakers, a 3.5mm line output, and a 3.5mm universal audio jack. When not in use, the webcam retracts into the system to help safeguard privacy.

This OptiPlex 7490 mounts to an included height adjustable stand. Also included is a wireless keyboard, a wireless mouse, and a power cord. Protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
