An upgrade to Fenix's top-selling headlamp, the HM50R V2 Rechargeable Headlamp can be set to four white light brightness levels and has two red-light settings, steady and flashing, to preserve night-acclimated vision or for signaling. Despite its compact size and light weight, the flashlight's LED delivers up to 700 lumens on the turbo setting, and will run as long as 42 hours on the 30-lumen low-power setting on a full charge. The light is controlled by a single, large push button, and the lamp is easily removed from its headband for use as a handheld flashlight. The 16340 Li-ion battery recharges in about 90 minutes inside the light, via USB Type-C, and a battery status indicator with red and green LEDs makes sure you know how much power you have left. A lockout setting assures the light won't come on accidentally while in transit.
Crafted of 6061-T6 Type III hard anodized aluminum, the HM50R V2 is IP68 dust-tight, waterproof, and submersible to 6.6', and has been model-tested to withstand being dropped 6.6' to a hard surface. It comes with an elastic headband that's perforated for comfort and bears reflective markings for safety. The light is so small and light, you may forget you have it on your head, but it will come in handy over and over for everything from walking the dog to backcountry camping.
