No, the Shure MV88+ is a digital mic that is designed for use with mobile devices only. It is not compatible for use with analog audio inputs on cameras and recorders. As another option for a compact mic that can be used with cameras and mobile devices, you may want to consider the new Sennheiser MKE 400 (B&H # SEMKE400M). This mic is also available in a kit with the same Manfrotto PIXI mini tripod and a phone clamp with a cold shoe mount which is the Sennheiser MKE 400 Mobile Kit Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone with Smartphone Recording Bundle (B&H # SEMKE400MK). The Sennheiser MKE 200 (B&H # SEMKE200) is a smaller and simpler mini shotgun mic that is also available with the same mini tripod and phone clamp (B&H # SEMKE200MK). There is a dedicated windjammer to add - the Shure Windjammer for Shure Motiv MV88+ & MV88 Digital Stereo Microphones (BH #SHAMV88FUR) - that should help protect it from wind noise and is highly reviewed by other users.

These microphones will all output analog audio signal and can be used with cameras and recorder.
