Does not actively support Linux

I bought this card based on its statement of support for Linux. I saw that I had to build the driver but saw that there were instructions to do so. However, the instructions are completely inadequate without consideration for the distribution of Linux or any details on how to troubleshoot build issues. The build scripts make assumptions based on some distribution but do not even list the distribution. Were Linux to be supported, a better build script would be needed to at least check a few distributions and attempt to detect the build environment. After many wasted hours, I am returning this card.
