Make your monitoring environment sound as good as it can with the ARC System 3 from IK Multimedia. ARC System 3 gives you room measurement software, room correction software, and the option to use the measurement microphone of your choice. Once you utilize a separately available measurement mic, this downloadable software will analyze your space in three dimensions around the listening position and create a 3D snapshot of your room, warts, and all. It then applies correction in a smooth and natural manner, in a way that never sounds "corrected."
Utilizing your own interface, you'll be able to have the room analysis software to conduct a series of measurements across your listening position and complete the setup within 10 minutes. You can also create measurements for multiple monitors and multiple listening positions. For measurement microphones, you can separately purchase IK Multimedia's MEMS room analysis microphone, or you can also use third-party measurement mics if you so choose. You can even load mic calibration files for complete transparency.
By default, ARC System 3 will correct the entire frequency spectrum, but you can also create custom upper- and lower-frequency targets, if you feel you only need to control a part of the spectrum. In this way, you can define limits to both upper and lower correction ranges separately. This is useful if you want to preserve the unique voicing of your monitors, or just have issues in the low end. The software offers linear-phase and natural-phase EQ modes, which each have their virtues. Do remember, however, to bypass the plug-in when bouncing your finished track.
This is worth repeating, so you don't accidentally export your mix with your room correction applied, which can be embarrassing: remember to bypass this plug-in when bouncing your finalized track to show your clients.

Presented here as downloadable software, IK Multimedia's Hammond B-3X is an officially licensed model of the Hammond B3 Organ. The software aims to deliver realism and detail in how it models this classic keyboard of jazz and rock. In conjunction with the Hammond Organ Company, IK Multimedia has measured and modeled the instrument down to its 91 free-running tonewheels, and freely arrangeable drawbars.
IK Multimedia has, in true IK fashion, also modeled the accoutrements of the Hammond B3: you get an emulated Leslie rotary cabinet captured with multiple mics, a variety of power amp and cabinet models, multiple stompboxes, and a complete parallel guitar-amp chain. Mix it all down into a software mixer with post-mixer effects to shape your sound to the hilt.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, and will work in AU, VST3, and AAX plug-in formats. It will also operate as standalone software, and it can be used on the stage as well as in the studio.

Available for download, Lurssen Mastering Console from IK Multimedia is mastering software that can be used in standalone applications, on your Mac or Windows computer, or within iOS devices. It's capable of handling 88.2 and 96 kHz signals, while its processors have been modeled on the hardware utilized at the Grammy Award-Winning studios of Gavin Lurssen; as such, the software offers a simplified user experience with much in the way of signal manipulation going on behind the GUI.
Its basic ethos is this: when mastering, Gavin Lurssen uses a set series of hardware modules determined by the genre of the material. Likewise, the modules available in the Lurssen Mastering Console change depending on the preset style you choose to work from. A hip-hop setting might put the limiter in a different chain position than the pop setting, for example, and each individual processor is interdependent—touch one knob, and everything else is as affected. Whichever preset you choose, you are always given control over input drive, a five-band EQ, a push setting (which juices the inter-relationship between all modules at once), as well as full automation over peak level.
One of the most interesting facets of the Lurssen Mastering Console is the ability to go between computer platforms and iOS devices. In conjunction with the mobile app, you can now do more than listen to your master in the car between mastering sessions—you can actually tweak your master in the vehicle (not while driving, of course), and take the resulting mix back to your studio in order to see if the results translate to all the speakers therein.
- Separate versions for Mac/Windows and iOS
- Mac/Windows version works in standalone mode or as a plug-in for your DAW
- 25 pre-made "Styles" created by Gavin Lurssen and his team, reproducing settings and gear used to master pop, hip-hop, rock and other genres
- 3 easy-to-navigate displays: Studio view with controls, Waveform view, and Chain view for individual processors
- Input Drive knob, linkable for stereo balance tweaks
- 5-band EQ with fixed frequency as dictated by preset
- "PUSH" Knob to subtly enhance selected song passages via uniform EQ adjustment
- Full automation of audio-content adjustment

Available for download, IK Multimedia's MODO Drum is a virtual instrument that gives you the sound of realistic drums. The software utilizes IK Multimedia's award-winning technology to model all the elements of the drums that bring them to life: their dimensions, materials of construction, skins, and more. The company has also modeled playing styles, the interaction of the drum head with the body, sympathetic vibrations between drums, and the acoustic interaction of the room.
Ten kits are offered in MODO Drum. You can adjust nearly every element of the drums from the GUI, damping the drums, changing their diameter, adjusting snare tension, and even changing out the heads. You can customize your kit, and make use of the Integrated Grooves manager, which supplies over 1400 grooves in many different styles. Change the play style of each hit down to the sticks used, all for subtle differences in the sound.
You can save all your alterations in easily recallable presets. You can also make use of a virtual drummer. IK's technology promises infinite round-robins, meaning you can avoid the machine gun effect of each quick hit sounding the same.
MODO Drum's Room section will allow you to place your drums in an array of different environments, from drum booths to clubs, cathedrals, and more, all thanks to built-in convolution reverb. You'll also have the ability to use compressors, gates, and other effects.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms. It will operate in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats.

IK Multimedia Syntronik Deluxe is a virtual synthesizer workstation plug-in with a library that comprises twenty-two modeled instruments with over 2600 preset sounds. The library covers forty-four, meticulously multi-sampled iconic vintage synthesizers and string machines, including the EMS VCF3, Memorymoog, Oberheim OB-Xa, ARP String Ensemble, Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, PPG Wave 2.3, Minimoog Model D, Roland Jupiter-8, and more. To make your sound-tweaking experience even more inspirational, the workstation offers seventeen dedicated interfaces with the look and feel of the original hardware panels and easy-to-use controls.
Syntronik employs the company's DRIFT technology to emulate the way real analog circuits behave over time and recreate the unmistakable sound of analog oscillators. The synth engine features circuit-level filter models from four of the best-sounding synths of all time, which provide a pristine reproduction of the most critical sections of each synthesizer in the collection, while enabling you to produce your own original sonic dimensions.
The software comes with true 4-part capability, great for layering rich sounds with multis and splits. Four keyboard modes including Poly, Mono, Legato 1, and Legato 2, and four dynamic arpeggiators are included to create complex rhythmic textures. Thirty-eight, high quality effects can be inserted on every instrument via a lunchbox-style interface, which allows you to intuitively forge, manipulate, transform, and mangle your sounds.
Syntronik is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and works in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats running at 64-bit.
